Public Enemy
It takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
I found the entire album samey with very little in distinguishing each song. I found them all merge into one big slush of, lyrics I couldn’t understand, random repetitive noises (like someone smashing the DJ button on a high school keyboard), and general samey samey from a melody perspective.
I appreciate the message and some of the lyrics are good, but generally, it was a message, from time, in a culture, exploring an issue, in a genre, that I personally find it hard to identify with or enjoy. The message is Wonderful but not in a medium that I can truly appreciate.
